Job Title: Greater Minnesota Worker Get Out The Vote (GOTV) Organizer
Hiring Organization: Greater Minnesota Worker Center https://www.mygmwc.org/
Hours: 20 hours/week. Must be available for night and weekend work.
Rate of Pay: $15-$20/hr commensurate with experience. Mileage reimbursed.
Job Description: GOTV Organizers will partner with the other staff and board members to register, mobilize, and develop low-wage workers’ capacity and engagement in the electoral process in St. Cloud and Central Minnesota. Organizers will knock doors, make phone calls, organize community events, conduct street and table canvassing as directed by staff and funders. The Organizer will assist staff with managing databases, communications, reporting, and work with funders. Labor, community, student, or political mobilizing/campaign experience required. Spanish or Somali language greatly preferred. Basic database and computer skills.
