Congratulations to the Spring 2026 Worker Power Cohort Graduates!
On June 13, 2026, Greater Minnesota Worker Center proudly celebrated the graduation of 22 frontline workers from our Spring 2026 Worker Power Cohort. Over the past three months, these emerging leaders committed themselves to building the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to organize alongside their coworkers and strengthen worker power across Central Minnesota.
The Worker Power Cohort is an intensive leadership development and organizing program designed to equip workers with practical organizing skills, including campaign strategy, identifying winnable workplace issues, power analysis, coalition building, worker engagement, and collective action. Participants also explored the history of worker struggles and learned how to apply these lessons to today’s workplace challenges. Throughout the program, graduates received ongoing coaching and mentorship, allowing them to put their new skills into practice within their own workplaces and communities.
The program’s goal is to develop a new generation of worker leaders who can build stronger workplace organizations, defend the rights of their coworkers, and create lasting change through collective action. By investing in grassroots leadership, the Worker Power Cohort helps strengthen workplaces, reduce isolation among immigrant workers, and build a durable, multicultural movement rooted in solidarity, democracy, and justice.
We extend our deepest congratulations to all 22 graduates for their dedication, leadership, and commitment to building power for working people.
